The initial survey was completed with a very skilful and expert salesman, plans were drawn up and ratified wit both my spouse and myself, which showed exactly what we required and expected. which included a seat with arms, these plans were ratified by the companies surveyor. The price of the complete job was accepted, and date for start of the project agreed with an estimated date of completion.
As the job was quite protracted and to give the fitter a clear field to operate we hired a cottage for the expected completion time.
The job was finally completed which entailed extending or hire period for the cottage.
On completion we returned home, the new shower room looked great, and handover of the workings of the apparatus was completed, BUT the shower seat did not have arms as specified in the plans as agreed.
The fitter agreed with us, and we contacted Assisted Bathing to point the mistake out, communication was poor with them, calls were unanswered, despite leaving messages.
Eventually a date was fixed for the proper seat to be fitted, unfortunately on the date it was cancelled due to unforseen circumstances.
A date was eventually fixed and the fitter appeared, lo and behold we now have what was agreed to be fitted originally.
I appreciate my review was lengthy, but communication was poor with Assistive Bathing, they did not seem to be "talking to one another" calls not being returned.
But at the end of the day, The large cubicle is great, both of us are a bit restricted in motion, good workmanship by all fitters and the rubbish was cleared remarkably quickly
To conclude maybe we should have stayed at home to keep an eye on proceedings, obviously saving rental monies. Your decision.
