Like many hotels, The Aston has the benefit of a nice location, comfortable and attractive accomodation and a good range of food & drink options. But what makes my stays there above average is the attitude and professionalism of the staff. Whenever I've had any issue which needed to be resolved - which has been rarely and never of much consequence - the team at The Aston are always willing and able to address it efficiently and with good grace. They are always friendly, smiling and approachable and if only more hotels understood just how big a difference that makes to the quality of the stay, then they would certainly be in with a chance of attracting more business. Reasonable room rates, food and accomodation will go so far - Good service provided with the right attitude are the things which truly determine how good an experience your hotel stay is.
