This review has been prompted by my recent purchase of black berkey filters, but I've purchased from Aussie Berkey Shop a few times. I purchased my full berkey set from ABS about 4 or 5 years ago, and it's honestly one of the best purchases I've ever made. I highly recommend the additional accessories of a stand, and the spout with level indicator. It seemed like a lot of money at the time, but it's been absolutely worth it. I prefer the taste of the water from my Berkey, over any other, and I know that it's also one of the healthiest options available (you can read lab results which show how well the filters work). Since buying my Berkey, I drink so much more water, because it smells and tastes better. Anyways, onto my most recent purchase: filters. I determine whether it's time to replace them by considering the taste of the water, and the speed of filtration. When it slows down dramatically, it's time to replace. From experience, I expect each set of filters to last 1-2 years, and I think that's pretty good value for money! Regarding the shop, they were actually cheaper than Amazon! I received the filters very quickly, way quicker than I expected. They must have posted them immediately. All round, 5/5 stars.
