But this has become nothing but a joke from a cowboy company.
I had my windscreen replaced by auto windscreens through my insurance. This was all well and good. Cost me £75 excess. Not an issue.
I payed there and then on the phone.. 4 weeks later. Yes 4 weeks with a crack the entire length of the windscreen. It was replaced.
They then tried to charge me £157 EXTRA because I didn't have windscreen cover.. which I did. Proof sent problem solved.
The technician snapped a piece of the trim holding the windscreen down.. no problem just replace it. Technician came round to investigate.. clearly no trim and snapped clips still in place.
7 weeks later after having no communication I emailed them asking for answers. I then later recieved and phonecall today.. and offered £10 would be payed to replace the trim as they couldn't find one to replace themselves.
Then to make things even better I'm then told that because I have another car that is similar.. I can take parts off that to fix the problem they have caused me in the first place?
So over 7 weeks.. I'm with missing bits. And a company that won't replace the part.. but offer £10 and take bits of my other car to fix it.
Auto windscreens have given me nothing but issues. Problem after problem. The customer service team are nothing but damn right disrespectful. The technician needs to go back to school if plastic trim was 'rusty'. Your loyalty to your customers is a joke.
I'll be posting this round all social media. Including photos of the emails sent.
