As a long standing client with a very low claims history I have found Autogen to be the worst one could expect and advise others to steer clear. A claim initially refused and subsequently agreed to has still not been paid. A R12k claim on a R6k per month policy premium is small but the principle is clear. Autogen will do whatever they can to avoid payment knowing we are all busy and don’t have time to waste on continually following up until their 90 day time limit expires, then you have no recourse.
Subsequent investigation reveals I am paying 100% over market for our cover.
