My negative review is for the seller, not the product. It’s impossible to rate something you’ve not received. I made a point of contacting Automotive Superstore prior to ordering. I asked them specifically if the items were physically in stock in their own store, not “in stock” in a supplier’s warehouse, as I needed the parts quickly. I was told they had these and they would dispatch in 3-5 days. One month later, following lies and errors, still no shipping notification. When I first contacted them, I was told their warehouse was busy, running a day or two behind, so my order would he dispatched in next couple of days. After another delay, I got the same story, then finally got the truth that they never had the parts. So, they lied when I ordered, or I could be generous and presume they made an error. It’s hard to believe it was an error, when they compounded the lie by telling me twice they had shipping delays in their own warehouse, before I got the truth. After this, I was told the stock was due shortly, only to find out (well after they were supposedly receiving the stock) that they have sent my parts to another customer, who ordered after myself! Either they’ve added incompetence to mistruth, or this is a very poor attempt at trying to soften the fact they still haven’t ordered my parts. Each time they’ve told me the order will soon be filled, I resisted cancelling the order and trying to find another seller, as I assumed they couldn’t continue with this behaviour. It appears my assumption was wildly incorrect.
