I am on my 3rd badass box so I know how to install them, I know the fine tuning sometimes required in positioning the magnet. But my third one does not work. So it has been sitting in my garage for months. Occasionally I try another install and I have asked a friend with a badass to look at it. Still does not work. I asked Badass if I could visit their premises so they can have a look, as they are only a 2 hour drive from me. But they refused to help me if I visited their offices. Only email support, but when you are experienced with 3 installations over 7 years it is clear that their is either a product fault or compatibility issue. It first sent error codes when in low gears on aggressive climbs. On flats it was ok. Then it sent errors in the rain. Now it shows errors permanently, wherever I place the magnet. I'm not criticising the product, just the unpleasant refusal to let me bring the bike to them so they can try to install it correctly for me. What other small company would behave like that? I am also an online retailer of motorcycle parts, I am also very busy. But if you buy my part and you are struggling with it, you are always welcome to visit my office and we will try to solve the problem together. Not Badass. Email only.
