My review particularly is not about store experience but online shopping.
I ordered 2 matching items. 1 Terry jogger sweater that was delivered by fed x. Because I wasn't home (work), they brought it to a small store that sell tourists trinkets in a crowed busy area of Gastown where it is impossible to park after work hours making your experience inconvenient. When I returned home I opened it to see a stain on it. 🙄 I called BR service representative who apologized for the inconvenience and sent me a sticker through email to return free of charge and said they would send me a new one. I dropped it off at a store location because my printer wasn't working.
On that note,
I had ordered the matching jogger that was returned, fed x returned it because my unit number was missing so the same representative said she will return my order free of charge and asked me which carrier I much prefer fed x or Canada post. I said Canada post. She said they will send it back free of charge.
1 month later, I still haven't received anything. I call up customer service who said they returned my money but if I want to re order they would be happy to help me?
Wait... what??? My online shopping experience with Banana Republic was frustrating and unethical and also a complete waste of my time. Because of this experience I will avoid Banana Republic moving forward. Horrible online costumer service 😒
