My customer service experience by phone. (July '22):
Expect long wait times before call is answered - sometimes an hour or more. Service op. took a minute getting my account loaded, adding that the system was running slow today (a common issue with customer services in many companies - maybe they're at home using a slow personal laptop?). She then put me back on hold for 6 minutes while she disappeared to get an answer from someone 'more in-the-know', then returned with an answer to a different question. I repeated my initial query, then was put on hold again while she went off to ask someone my basic question ("what is my interest-free overdraft amount?"), before I gave up and hung up after another 6 minutes. Why couldn't I speak to the person who she was speaking to, to find the answer to my question, instead of me wasting my time talking to someone who appeared to be nothing more than a switchboard operator? 25 wasted minutes on the phone to get a simple bit of info, and still didn't get my answer. Dreadful experience. It's not like they don't make enough money out of us to afford to give us good customer service. Greedy b******s.
