I use to be with Barclays from Jan 1997 in Nuneaton West Midlands, and they use to be helpful, they help me on loans, customer services where great, in July 2009 at the first recession i lost my job, and i went to Barclays as i couldn't the monthly payments with my loan, and staff said coulnt help me, for over a year I was paying what i could and i had letter after letter that i owe them money. Three times I had a meeting with Barclays staff as they said they could have help me, and same three times i got denied, and this times i was so much in debt i didnt know what to do, I decided to go with debt manager to help me as Barclays couldnt, soon i joined my debt manager Barclays staff call me one morning saying for the fourth time they could have help my situation and i told that member of staff got promise that three times, and three times got rejected. I still paying my debt with them, and I'm with a different bank, Its a shame because if they would have help I would have still be with them, like I said back then they where brilliant, now not so much :-(
