I had to go up to Shropshire on business and had originally looked at hotels in Ludlow but left it a bit late and found most were full so looked on the internet for hotels around Ludlow. The web page of The Baron at Bucknell looked interesting so I booked my stay there. I am delighted that I did, it is a first class hotel that would hold it's own with any hotel worldwide. The quality of the rooms, the cleanliness of the entire hotel, the welcome of the owners, the supurb service of the staff and the delicious food are all exceptional. Every last little detail to make staying there as comfortable as possible was included. Not to mention the stunning views. I would thoroughly reccommend anyone visiting that area to book their stay at the Baron.
