I booked our weekend break as a surprise 'stocking filler' for my partner for christmas, we'd always wanted to visit Ludlow and so on looking for somewhere to stay I came across the 'Barons' website, liked what I saw and booked it! The website does not do this 'gem' of a find justice... there is nothing negative I can say about this place, the building, the bedrooms (luxury isnt in it!) the food and the welcome was more than we expected. The view from the conservatory whilst eating breakfast is wonderful, we watched rabbits, saw kestrels and hawks whilst enjoying a well cooked, lovely presented full english breakfast. It is a family run place, and it shows, the attention to detail and the effort made for us to enjoy our stay, (right down to their lovely daughter waiting on our table on Sunday morning)was delightful. This place is a find, and I'll defy anyone not to enjoy a weekend here. Well done 'The Baron' we will be seeing you again soon!
