Due to a medical reason not within our control however the only word the young girl heard was cancel, no other option was offered such as rearrange another date. Im still waiting on her asking the reason for the cancellation. Told her the reason but no empathy what so ever was forthcoming, only thing she was interested in was the ludicrous cancellation fee. This was equivalent to between 70 to 80 % of the holiday price I am well aware of rules and regulations but when something is outwith your control I find it ridiculous. Not so much about the hard earned cash you took like an unmasked dick turpin but the lack of empathy for someone's health you neglected to acknowledge was uncouth. Used Barrhead travel over thirty years longhaul all over unfortunately never again. My recommendation would be go to a travel agent that cares stay clear of Barhead Travel if you are looking for good customer care if there was a zero star it would not even be one no empathy or comfort whatsoever .
