I have been using Barry cactus club for ages (over a year- I was a member of the first month of subscriptions). The cacti are super cute!! But I have a few criticisms and it pains me to be this honest:
1.I’ve had a few very late deliveries or times when my cactus just didn’t turn up.. I messaged the company and they sent a new one but it wasn’t in the best of conditions.
2.I think 15 pounds is a lot of money when cacti are so cheap in the shops now.. I know you are paying to support a growing company and for the uniqueness (this will bring me on to point3) but the plants aren’t very big and it’s a lot to be paying when the quality isn’t the best.
3. I have had replicas of pots.. the fact the pots were cute and all different is the reason why I kept paying the amount. It’s not as exciting if you have two of the same. Why let a customer continue with the subscription if there’s going to be repeats?
4. The cacti do not turn up with alot of soil or grow very well, my latest one was missing leaves and branches so is quite bare. I don’t know if it will recover?
It was better at the start, I think now more people are using it the worse the quality and organisation of it is. I will probably be cancelling soon as I haven’t had any incentives/discounts or loyally rewards for keep this up for over the past year.
