I am very unsure whether to purchase a motorhome from this dealer. I visited and viewed the van in question. The presentation of the van was poor, it is a 2nd hand van i am looking at (100k). Although the van had a note in the window, just arrived and awaiting preparation. All the vans on display had this note! I asked the salesman how long the van was on the forecourt, he replied 2 weeks, I was looking at it advertised for the past 2 months. Lost a bit of trust straight away. I was left alone to view the van which was fine, I noticed a few things that deepened my concerns, things placed in a way to hide damage etc. Items missing off walls. Items that were advertised with the van in the advert, were mistakes and were not part of the deal. More trust lost! The salesman was O.K not overly pleasant or knowledgeable, so wasn't good at re assuring my concerns ,or put me at ease. I was sent through a agreement to sign and asked to check it. A few things that were discussed were missing off the form , again this scared me a bit, my trust is all but gone. I absolutely would love to buy this van that I am looking at ..........I dont have the warm and fuzzy feeling at this moment. I do believe that putting the deal in writing is the right thing to do. I feel like I am having to work to hard to convince myself. My wife is disappointed with these thoughts I am discussing, but also realises if these are concerns now , is there any re assurance that we will have a good experience. Will see what happens over the next few days and see where our gut takes us. I will post the outcome as to what we did.
