The iWalk 2.0 was absolutely invaluable in getting me mobile following an ankle fusion when I was non weight-bearing for 12 weeks. I am 66 and found it no problem at all, having practiced the week before my operation. On the day of my operation I took the iWalk in with me and showed it to the physiotherapist, and was absolutely gobsmacked that she had never seen or heard of it. She then tried the leg and was amazed at how easy it was to use. Potential users should note that the foot is let or right handed, and MUST set it up correctly before use, or it will be very unstable. However, correctly adjusted, it is ultra stable and incredibly easy to use. I walked out of hospital the day after my operation carrying the crutches I had been given, under my arm, and have not used them since.
