Had three iwalks and have found them to be a great way to get around. Being a lower limb amputee with the complications of having CRPS I can't wear a normal prosthitc as they squeeze the affected area so much it's a non starter. This gives me a chance to walk around stand up at the sink, so it's great. The last one I brought had a modification at the front, gone has the straight bit, it now has a dip in it so my knee is not hitting it when I walk. My only criticism is with the straps, but is only a minor point. Once fitted they are ment to stay as they are but do work lose, I have stitched Velcro on to both sides of the straps and I feed what is left of the strap back on its self between the plastic buckle then attach it to the Velcro. It stops a lot of the strap movement and I don't have to keep adjusting the stap to make it tighter.
Jerry is excellent and always gets in touch after I email him for any spares I need, I can't fault there business and how they conduct themselves. I'm looking forward to the new mods that are due out, the choice of thicker padding and the one pices replacement foot pads. The iwalk is a game changer for lower leg injuries, people are always commenting on the iwalk.
I would recomend this and Jerry to anyone.
