The salesman listened to us and did not try to push us into something we didn't want. He encouraged us to try several types of mattress and explained the differences. We appreciated his full attention the whole time we were in the shop.
The delivery people rang 10 mins before they arrived (within the scheduled time), were polite, cheerful & tidy taking all the packaging away. They also reminded us to leave the mattress clear to air for a couple of hours which I did. Even after just a few days the mattress feels very comfortable, BUT we are concerned about the very strong damp, musty odour from the mattress, it smells as if it has been stored for some time in a very damp place. I've left the bed open each day until late afternoon then put the electric blanket on low for a few hours but the smell still lingers. I don't think the mattress smell should be like this especially after four days and we have never experienced anything similar with any other new bed or mattress we've bought over the years. Can you suggest anything?
