I recently bought a mattress from Bedworld and had to wait 2.5 weeks for delivery despite contacting the team to inform them of my urgent need for the mattress. When it was delivered the mattress was soiled with dirt/mud on the outer edge. It was wrapped completely in thick plastic which was intact on delivery. Therefore the soiling had occurred prior to wrapping. As usual I checked the item delivered thoroughly before removing the plastic wrap and noticed the soil damage. I immediately contacted Bedworld to advise of the damage to the mattress and request a replacement urgently. I was advised it would take at least a week to arrange collection and replacement. I explained I could not wait that long on top of the initial wait and asked for a reduction in price as the mattress delivered was not in new condition. After submitting photographs of the damaged area and numerous further emails I was offered a £30 reduction and advised how to clean the soiled area with cleaning products that cost more than £30 not to mention my time it took to clean. Quite frankly it was an insult. Therefore I will not be shopping at Bedworld again.
