I just want to make clear that I do not usually write bad reviews but this company is so bad I felt I had to warn others.
I placed an order for four different items on Saturday 17th December, they were all for Christmas presents. I sent an email immediately after I placed the order to check that it would be delivered in time for Christmas and never received reply. I emailed again on Tuesday 20th Dec to check that my order would arrive in time for Christmas and once again never got a reply. I then received a marketing email that evening advertising that there was still time to order for delivery before Christmas so I was reassured that my order would arrive in time.
I then called on Wednesday 21st Dec and was told that my order should arrive the following day on Thursday, I explained that my work was closed on the Friday (that was delivery address) and he said that I should call the following morning if I didn't receive any tracking details or a dispatch confirmation email so I could change the address to my home.
I didn't receive any tracking details on the Wednesday so assumed it had not been sent that day for delivery on the Thursday so I called on Thursday morning to change the address to my home. Nobody picking up on the first attempt so I called about an hour later and got through to a pretty rude lady and was told to call the customer service number (which was not on the website) so I called that number and got through to the same person! She said that the customer service team must have been busy so she would try and help. She said she could only see what I could see and that the order had not been sent so was unlikely to arrive before Christmas. Therefore I asked for my order to be cancelled so I could go out and replace all the gifts. She said she could not do that but would put a note on the order to ask for it to be cancelled.
I then emailed to cancel as I was not convinced that the lady on the phone had done anything. I received a reply later that day saying my order was going to be sent that afternoon so I immediately replied and said could it be sent to my home as my work would be closed. I didn't receive a reply to that email until the Friday evening saying they attempted to deliver to my work but it was closed (which I had told them it would be) and that they would be delivering the order to my home on Christmas eve (Saturday). I had already bought replacement gifts on the Friday so I didn't even was the items anymore. When the order actually arrived only two of the items were delivered!!! I was given a refund for the missing items and am going to keep the other items for future gifts as I can't bare to have to deal with Beer Hawk again when trying to return them.
All in all this is the WORST COMPANY I have ever had to deal with. I understand that sometimes items are out of stock but all they needed to do was communicate with me and then I could have replaced the gifts with plenty of time. Beer Hawk, you really need to sort out your customer service! The product range is great but the service is absolutely terrible.
