My order arrived without four of the beers I'd ordered. Unfortunately I had still been charged for the missing beers and they showed up on the packing slip as being present.
Although disappointed that I didn't receive my full order I can accept that stock levels change all the time. My issue is that there was no acknowledgement that the order was incomplete, and it was left to me to phone customer services to request a refund.
I'd like to see Beer Merchants being proactive in informing customers when orders are incomplete and issuing refunds automatically in such circumstances. I'm sure that this was an innocent mistake but lessons have to be learned to improve the system.
