Reading this book has been life changing. And I need to qualify that, LIFE CHANGING. I hope there is room here for my story.
First, I have been a vegan for over 25 years. I know about how hormones and antibiotics in meat, and dairy, can cause accelerated cell growth and depletes healthy microbes the body needs internally to maintain good health. So, because I am vegan I thought "Prostate issues? No, that can't happen to me. I don't eat animal hormones and antibiotics".
In January of this year, I was hospitalized in an emergency room for an inablity to urinate for two days. I had to go back to the same emergency room two days later when I still could not urinate. The doctor inserted a catheter into my bladder through my genitalia and prescribed a medicine for me called Tamsulosin to take 0.4 mg of every day. My prostate was 100 grams in size.
Within 3 weeks, the catheter came out, I continue on the Tamsulosin, and am able to sleep through the night without having to get up to urinate, and I urinate as "normally" as I should ever since. I am not down to 0.4 mg of Tamsulosin every OTHER day, instead of every day.
So, what caused the change from a urinary catheter, to hardly any noticable prostate issues? The information in this book is what caused it.
For decades I have eaten vegan. But 85% of that vegan food was processed. Some of it VERY highly processed. I also drank coffee. As soon as I changed my diet 100% ( and by this I don't mean I sneak in a muffin from time to time). I mean I changed my diet 100% based on the recommendations in this book and the prostate problem vanished in front of my eyes and has so far never returned.
Meaning, this book holds the truth about what TRULY causes men to have prostate issues. When I went to the urologist in tears over my future, he recommended surgery almost at once. These are his words "We make about 5 or 6 small incisions in your abdomen. The robot arm removes the prostate growth and the problem goes away". He did not say one word about vitamins, minerals, proper diet, other supplements mentioned in this book. Straight to surgery for over $40,000.00. Is it worth it guys?
I still eat vegan 100% but I do it now based on the recommendations in this book.
NO DRUGS
NO ALCOHOL
NO TOBACCO
NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS
NO PROCESSED FOODS
NO CAFFEINE
NO ARTIFCIAL INGREDIENTS.
It took me a few weeks to learn this diet, but after one or two months, your body begins to guide you to the right foods and back to good health. It is truly amazing, and I owe it to this book and Dr. Ong.
So, thanks.
