I have shopped on Bid or Buy, now Bob Shop for many years and bought some wonderful things and only dealt with lovely sellers. I recently purchased a ring from Trojan Jewels which was not what I anticipated in that it was too small. I asked if I could return the ring, at my cost to courier and in return offered to buy 4 x items on my watch list in exchange. Elena the owner flatly refused. When I expressed how disappointed I was, she replied don't be disappointed, she was sticking to the rules and paid Bid or Buy a fee. I would have even offered to pay the fee to recoup some of my money in exchange. At this point I gave up and called Bob Shop to complain, to be told there was nothing they could do. All I could do was rate the seller and that I was not happy. Sadly I will not be using this site again, due to one bad seller who actually would have made more money from me had she just been decent. Not only am I disappointed, I am shocked that people can even behave this way!
