Purchased the Barnell pruning shears recommended by Linda Vader on You Tube. She was right, they are a great addition to my gardening tools. They are aluminum, so no rusting anticipated and are lightweight. They did an excellent job in trimming my privet hedges. I also purchased a folding pruning saw for cutting up some dead fallen branches. This little saw was just what I needed. The folding feature makes the saw very compact. I am so pleased with both of these purchases.
Big Frog quickly shipped these two items to me, so that was an added plus.
