We popped in to have a look at some cars expecting like lots of others to be able to have a walk around although we did know what make and model we were interested in. Had to give details as soon as we entered and was assigned 2 people to follow us around. They were lovely however when it came to after the test drive and I agreed to have a look at some finance options it felt like it changed, the offers were an absolute rip off I told them multiple times I wouldn't want my finance over 5 years the first quote added up to over £17,000 odd pounds over the 5 year term for an £11,700 car with a part exchange against it ???????? eventually got them down to something more acceptable after lots of back and forth and the manager coming out twice as I kept saying no. Then I asked if I could take the figures home to have a chat and a think about it but they said no I wasn't allowed to take the piece of paper with me and wanted me to sign and drive away in the car there and then which I didn't want to do I kept repeatedly saying I didn't want to rush into anything but it fell on deaf ears over and over again. They also still had my keys from when they gave me a part exchange offer which was absolutely abysmal aswell felt like we were being held hostage! I've never bought a car in that way before and never ever felt so rushed and pressured it was a horrible experience even if they had my dream car there I would never return never known anything like it. They must lose so many sales selling like this. They must hope stupid gullible people will come in and over pay on their terrible finance deals and unnecessary added extras. Also £1,035 for one years warranty???? It wasn't until we left the show room I had chance to work out all the figures of what they were trying to charge me I couldn't believe it absolute scam artists!!!
