AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I bought a Tesla Model 3 two weeks ago.
On test drive the car seemed OK, it was my first EV (which the sales advisor was aware of) and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. The sales lady said the car would be fully valeted and ready when I collect it.
I picked up the car in the dark and was guided past it to fill in the paperwork.
On driving the car home I noticed a squeaking from the driver's wheel area. In the light I could see the car had not been valeted and had a badly repaired scratch on the boot.
I reported this to BMWorld and was asked to send pictures and videos, which I did. Over the following two weeks there was much back and forth with multiple people, who all towed the same company line of "you had a chance to view the car and it's used so this isn't our fault". The issues with my car obviously show that they did not do a "200 point check" or have a smart repairer make the bodywork "like new" or professionally valet the car before handing it over (as advertised on their website.)
They have contacted me to book in the repair to sort the squeaking (upper control arms need replacing). However, their repair centre only work Monday- Wednesday with appointments up to 3pm. Not exactly useful for 9-5 customers a 50 min drive from them.
I received a 'final response' basically saying they will not sort out the bodywork but I could bring the car back for a valet.
A shocking experience with inhuman customer service that is too busy hiding behind paperwork to fix a relatively simple issue that they missed during their "checks"
