Big Motoring World - yes they look nice. Cars are well priced and the website and showrooms all look nice and shiny. This is where the good look ends.. Once you buy a car they will try and sell you a lot of expensive coatings and extras. The actual process can take a LONG time as they just want those high margin sales add-ons but this is not the real issue.. AFTER SALES / WARRANTY - This is without a shadow of doubt the worst / coldest and most uncaring and unhelpful company I have ever had the misfortute of dealing with. I cannot put into words how cold and dismissive they are. If anything happens to your vehicle, and I mean even within 10 minutes of driving off they will ask you to email their lovely 'big assist' and thats it. Sit and wait 5 days for a reply. Doesnt matter if you need to get to work, have children to take places, or you broke down within view of the showroom email and wait. Then they will ask for quote after quote pulling apart everything you send them from any local garages, thats if you were lucky enough to get home to wiggle out of paying for anything. Only other option drive hundreds of miles to one of their centres if you can, which you probably cant if you are broken down. Look on Facebook and read the comments to get a real sense of who this company is. Warranty if worthless - they wil say get a quote from a local garage and then within 5 days reject it for one reason or another. I had squeeling brakes. Not a major problem but embarassing enough. I took it to a local garage and sent a quote along with the milage and they ignored it. They then told me to go to a garage and have the brake pads measured ignoring everything I had sent as if I never sent them a quote anyway. Yes that actually happened I was asked to have brake pads measured. No mention of the pitted and scored discs can I get a mechanic to take the wheel off and get a ruler out and measure the pads. My initial quote from a reputable local garage with the issue diagnosed, stated and quote provided was ignored, as was the fact I took a half days holiday to get that done. If you get lucky and get a car with no faults then ok, but, and you will learn if you ignore my advice, if you need them for anything you will be treated to the cold shoulder and almost made to feel like they wish you would just go away. I have read some other clients horror stories. Engine lights coming on the day of sale and you got it.... send an email and sit and wait and shut up, and any quotes you send for local repairs will be contested to the point you just give up and that I see thats is their plan. Send you short, cold emails and nothing more. No help, no apology, nothing personal its hideous. In fact their attitude was a shock and I dont shock easily. I do wish I had never laid eyes on this company. Their attitude is horrendous and its beyond cold, and I am now just one of many that have been smiled at on the way in, and then left out in the cold as soon as the money has left my hand. They could have the comedic big boot that kicks you up the rear on the way out because in reality thats how they do it. If I could give them a minus rating that would be an accurate reflection of how I really view tham. The worst company I have ever dealt with, and thats saying something. THEY EVEN HAVE A DEDICATED FACEBOOK PAGE STARTED BY ALL OF THEIR CUSTOMS JUST LIKE ME.. ITS ALL GENUINE. AVOID. 1. Ask to see the 200 point check. We are sorry we don't hold records of those. That's right eerm we did it but you will have to take our word for it. Honestly.. 2. Ask them if I break down within 24 hours will I get a quick repair or will you have to email and wait up to 5 days. Just ask. That should tell you all you need to know.
