Second purchase from BMW. Bought an A3 Cabrio 5 years ago, great price and no problems whatsoever. Had to sell following injury to get an automatic, so bought a Q3 from Enfield recently. Good price and excellent condition. Bit of hassle waiting to get the car validated, and noticed a scratch on the bonnet following this - but was sorted out by the sales manager. Whole process was very slick and efficient. Yes it's a sales operation, but there was very little hard sell. All the staff very friendly and helpful. 3 days after getting home I noticed the front windscreen washers wouldn't work- RAC were called but decided they might not have the equipment so diagnostics was booked in at a local garage and the problem sorted and paid for under warranty within 2 days. Rianne at Big Assist was great. BMW attract a lot of bad press, but given their great prices and slim margins they have to make money on the extras and live or die by the efficiency of the operation. Therefore they have to make sure that all warranty claims are justified and whilst the 90-day warranty is limited, if you're careful with your car selection then there shouldn't be too many problems. There'll be my first port of call next time as well
