I should have read the reviews before visiting this company.We visited to buy an electric car. We required that my husband's work be far away, so we needed a car with a large battery. The seller showed us several cars, but we declined because the one we were currently shown had a small battery. The seller explained that there was a typo online and showed us a screen showing the car we were purchasing, stating that it had a 250 range. We had to double-check the battery capacity before filling out the paperwork, and he confirmed that it still had a 250 range. After waiting for six hours, we picked up the car in the late afternoon, and on the way home, we discovered the battery capacity was different. We asked them to fully charge the battery before picking it up, but due to time constraints, they didn't. When we charged it on the way home, it was only rated for 175 Range. We returned to the company to complain, but they were already closed, and when we contacted them the next morning, The seller changed his story and said it could go up to 220 range. He still gave me incorrect information about the car.Also, he told us we would have to pay £1,000 for an exchange. When we contacted Audi headquarters, they confirmed that the model we purchased was equipped with a smaller 175-range battery before the larger capacity battery was released. We returned on Monday to request a refund, but the seller immediately refused, stating that refunds were only available in the case of a defect. We were informed by legal representatives that we had a 14-day legal right to a refund, and our situation was due to the seller's misinformation. However, the company refused to acknowledge their mistake and instead placed all the blame on the buyer. The battery capacity wasn't specified in the documentation, and we had been told verbally and online that the battery capacity was 250Range. So we trusted the seller and purchased the car. However, their follow-up was truly appalling. We requested a refund, but they even over the phone, citing their policies and refusing to refund us. We sought legal assistance from our loan company, and both the loan company and other legal representatives listened to our situation and clearly explained that we could receive a refund. I'll keep updated on how the company is handling the current situation.
