I ordered from Germany in November 2021. After 6 weeks I was informed by German Customs that my order was confiscated by customs and will be destroyed since Germany does not allow import of certain products. I will also have to pay a fine of Euro 55.00. I contacted Biovea customer service to ask if Biovea takes any responsibility regarding the issue. I was told by a Mr. Hans Huber that they do not and that cutoms works by a "principle of chance" and it was my responsibility to ascertain that the products are legal in Germany. I ordered these products on a German website, www.biovea.de, the prices were shown in Euros and nowhere on the website does it say that the products are shipped from the U.S. Neither was I made aware of this fact during the order process.
I find that business practice reprehensible. If a company ships to foreign countries the customer has to be made fully aware of the country of origin.
