Had hoped to post this sooner but travelling has held it up. We (hubby, adult son and I) had a great few days on our Black Prince boat Patsy, was plenty of room with 2 double beds, mattresses could have been better, a reasonable sized lounge/ dinning/ kitchen and a shower and toilet everything you would need except your food. On our first day after some excellent tutorage we went up the Falkirk Wheel and stopped at the Tesco Superstore at Redding to collect our food for the trip, easy parking close to the store. We hired it mid week picking up Wednesday morning and returning it Saturday morning, if you do this hire and use the wheel you will need to return down the wheel on Friday afternoon. We had a few very restful days observing the countryside and can highly recommend this for a holiday.
