We purchased the manual blinds to replace the assisted roll up blinds (no battery). The old one started to fail last year,probably too wide and heavy to work properly. Then one side came unglued to the base and were unable to raise or lower. We have 2 others of these that are on narrower but longer windows and they still work great. My husband is very experienced on the install but had a little difficulty installing the roller control. He got it after some you tube video watching.
