I ordered peonies to be delivered on the day of the recipient’s birthday which was Saturday and paid extra for Saturday delivery. Unfortunately the peonies were out of stock and couldn't deliver on Saturday. They did send an email on the Friday evening to ask if I would prefer different flowers or a delayed delivery but it went to junk mail. Given the impact to delivery times I thought it warranted a phone call but the flowers themselves were gorgeous once they arrived the following Monday.
