Don't buy a Bloor home
I can't say this strongly enough? If you are considering buying a hone from Bloor, don't do it.
The quality of the work is poor, we had almost a year of rows because of the contractor who they employ who failed to apply sufficient tanking to the garden wall, and to put sufficient drainage in our garden, consequently the Gard sunk, it was more like a swimming pool and the garage was damp, and further to be repeatedly told 'It wasn't Blood responsibility' They eventually, after many rows, Blood rectified the work, this took many months to complete and put us under undue stress. Our move in to our new home was not at all what we imagine, It has been a nightmare. This wasn't the only issue, there are 'snag' lists which we are told are for teething issues. We have ongoing issues with the cheap paint which they use, which comes off when you wipe down with a cloth, the staff are rude, ( except a couple of the sales staff); we were on the way with the removal van on the agreed day to collect keys to receive a phone call from the deputy site manger to say that we couldn't move and we should have been informed earlier. These are just a few matters which come to mind. We have been here for two years now, and the man holes are still not secured, I've resorted to Blood three times and they are still keeping us awake at night every time a car rides over them they give out a bang.
We are not alone in this, there are other people in our community that we know have similar issues, some with worse experiences than ours.
