I am 73 years old and recently, bought a gorgeous waterfront home for my grandchildren to enjoy. Of course with that must come a boat, so I bought a Campion Chase speedster. My experience with boating was next to nil. When the dealer delivered the boat, launched it and then asked me, "So Chris what is your experience with power boats? I looked at him and replied, "Hm..!! White water kayaking..", with a laugh. Deep down, I have been a 'land lubber' all my life. I did not even like boats. However, the necessity of doing the course made me an accomplished boater with the ease of the Internet. Coming from a generation whose literary and reading skills were superior to recent generations and although I found the course very well organized and knowledgeable I felt a little frustrated with having to read along with every unit instead of having the option of reading it on my own and then being able to go directly to the quiz or exam. Nevertheless, it is a very well thought out and informative course and very necessary for safe boating. Cheers Chris
