I found the course very well designed and executed. My one issue is that this course really covers so much material on boating, it is too much for the recreational boater on many small lakes in Ontario (likely most of the country). One of my friends said after taking the course, the Ministry should really be aware that in Northern Ontario, a buoy is really just an empty Javex bottle. A little too much detail for boaters who will never be on a large lake or waterway where many of the maritime rules would be most critical. Perhaps a course broken into a graduated type system would be more relevant to those of us weekend cottagers. Just a suggestion.
