Hi. Well, it was more work than I thought, but I am a 71 year old Grandma, and I wanted to show my son and three grandson's that I could do it. But, I can't believe what you have to learn and how things have changed since I was young. I enjoyed learning all about boating and lights and buoys, so nobody can pull the wool over my eyes if they say.."No. It's ok Grandma, we can do this". It has made me more aware on the waterways; even when I watch the local or provincial news! I say to myself..."I knew that." Now, I cannot forget to thank the staff at Boatsmart. In the beginning I had to call about 4 times with questions, and they were so friendly and helpful and made me feel better about myself and even though I misunderstood some things, they never made me feel foolish.
