Misleading Listing – No Proper Resolution from Booking.com
I booked a two-bedroom apartment via Booking.com for a work trip with three unrelated adults. Instead, we were given a one-bedroom or studio — completely unsuitable. The response from the host was unclear, and no timely solution was offered. We had to leave and pay for alternative accommodation ourselves.
We waited in a café, under stress, with no support. I suffer from a heart condition, and the situation caused severe emotional distress. The only offer was a “larger room,” but it came too late and was never confirmed as a proper two-bedroom.
So far, I am seeking a full refund, but it seems Booking.com is not taking responsibility.
