I always book hotels with booking.com and have had a really good experience. Therefore, this time I decided to book a flight. This was a bad decision. I booked my flight with wizz air, which was FULLY REFUNDABLE. I had to cancel the flight due to some reason and wanted to book again. I was told that booking.com will send me a voucher with a code so that I can rebook. It has been more than 5 days and I have received no coupon. Not only that the customer service doesn't seem to know much. They kept insisting that I should contact wizz air directly. I cannot do that since, I don't have the email and password used by booking.com to make my booking. After somehow managing to get information from one customer serive rep about the email ID used to make the booking, I got in touch with wizz air, and guess what. They said the refund has already been processed!!!!! When I mentioned this to booking.com, they told me they will escalate my complaint and then the next day I receive an email saying, they no longer access my reservation anymore due to "multiple possible reasons", and that I should get in touch with wizz air. As I said before, without the password used for making the booking, wizz air will not let me access my refund and rebook my flight. This has been a horrible experience. I have lost time and money. It would have been easier just to book via wizz air directly. NEVER AGAIN!!
