BookPal had some issues with communication when it came to putting together an event for an author. The event got pushed back because of COVID19 (totally understandable) but the rescheduled event wasn't clear. I bought the book through BookPal with the promise of having an intimate signing event with the author. Only the people that bought the book (presale) got to go the event. They never sent an update or when the event was rescheduled. I saw a post that online from someone else and it had passed. Never got an email from BookPal.
