We ordered a product from a third-party seller through Boots, but it didn’t suit us. We returned the unopened item within the two-week return period at the Marple store. The assistant in the store mentioned that the refund would be processed through our online account and didn’t provide a receipt.
However, we never received the refund. When we contacted the store again, the staff denied our visit and the return, claiming we never handed over the product! The item cost nearly £200, and despite reaching out to multiple sources, we’ve received no assistance. The administration directs us to the store, and the store tells us to contact the administration. They even claim there’s no record of us on their cameras, and the footage has been erased!
This situation is outrageous! We are in shock! Given that we are Ukrainians with limited English and unfamiliar with the local laws, this experience feels discriminatory, almost like racism. We are extremely disappointed and frustrated.
