It was like putting ear-plugs in my ears. I had to take them out to hear. When I tried to return them, I was sold the upgrade - which didn't work either. Now I'm STILL waiting for my promised refund apparently in vain. It has been a month since the "aids" were delivered, in perfect condition, without seeing my payment(s) returned.
