The Proton Max is not a bad hearing aid for the price. However, I was not aware I was ordering such new technology that they don't even have the wax guards available on line yet! You can only order over the phone, and have to give your credit card number to a person. I only use my credit card on line when it is encrypted! So now-- I have two worthless hearing aids because the wax guards need to be changed-- but I can't get replacements. I think the company should have sent more than just 2 with the original order-- since they still don't have them available on line!
