I ordered 2 special bottles of Gin from Bottle Bling over 12 days ago, they are yet to arrive, however I wanted them for a birthday present last night and had to go to a super market to purchase them, for £4 cheaper than I paid online.
Why one star, well, in summary - poor logistical planning, can't be trusted and absolutely no customer service experience.
The detail
1, I checked with bottle bling on the 7th working day, to confirm if my order would arrive on time, they assured me everything was ok and it would arrive by the 10th working day. It didn't.
2, when I asked on the 11th working day whey the bottle had not arrived, the excuse given was that the bank holiday had disrupted the delivery, this made no sense as there was no bank holiday within the 10 working day period. After questioning this, they then said the suppliers of the Gin had delayed getting stock to them, possibly more BS.
3, When I asked how they could correct the situation, they stopped responding all together and didn't bother acknowledging that I've paid £40 more to correct their mistakes / poor planning.
Better off buying from a trusted source.
