G32B Private holiday home. 2nd week in September 2023.
This caravan is supposedly cleaned and checked, prior to each change over, why were these issues not identified on previous change overs, I asked Newmans? still have not received an reply email?
Below is a list of faults issues with this static caravan.
1, bedroom. Very uncomfortable mattress, sprung system and very uncomfortable, note difficult to sleep.
2, En-suite. Loose toilet seat.
3, Living area, Reclining seats are old, dirty and don’t recline easy. Staines on sofa and carpet. Cushions are dirty,
4, Kitchen. Utensil draw jammed, will only open 2”, will not fully open unable to gain access. Dirty cooker hood, also some cutlery was unclean. Fridge top shelf cracked.
5, Main bathroom, missing blind, so unable to use bathroom.
6, Unable to use vacuum cleaner, small plastic bracket broken.
7, Outside area, under rattan table, one chair missing.
Ladram (Sue) wanted to get cleaners in while on holiday, really! To do the job properly you will need to deep clean, which means later you have everything wet, so I said no! do it properly before or after our stay.
There is no WIFI, not sure many people could live with that, you can make phone calls on your phone outside the caravan on a good day!! so if you need to use your phone, maybe select an alternative caravan.
Ladram caravan site is good to okay, so book a caravan managed by the Ladram site team, very sad to say not with Newman's, check trust pilot, only 38% of customers could recommend them, so the choice is yours....
