Our arc lamp arrived sooner than expected. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials: the heavy marble base and the brass-finish metal. The construction is very sturdy. Putting the arc lamp together is definitely a two-person job, with the last section (the pole section connected to the brass lampshade) being the trickiest. There were two “set screws” that prevented us from connecting the last section. When we figured out that those screws had to be loosened in order to make room inside the pole, then we were easily able to insert the last section of the pole. It is a beautiful, artful lamp, and we are very pleased with its look and functionality.
