I was very pleased with everything except I could not find the ring to secure the lampshade. I went online and it was the first FAQ I found. I think that the instructions for that should be on the instruction sheet that is included in the packaging. Since the FAQ acknowledges that it can be easily missed, it seems kind of obvious that it needs to be clearer in the instructions. the picture makes it look like it is a piece that is in the box, not already on the lamp.
