While the customer service has been great, the quality of the actual products is quite poor. For instance, I ordered the Carter desk lamp and once it was put together, you can clearly see that the entire lamp is crooked. The metal piece that attaches to the top of the wood is bent at a slight angle. It was produced that way. And you can't bend it to make it straight, so therefore the lamp shade also sits crooked. I like the look of the lamp, so I hopefully placed it in my living room at the proper position where the flaws show the least. I thought about returning it, but maybe they all came off the production line like that.
