I researched vest for weeks... all the vests ...and I choose this one (20lbs) because it was not plated, how it secures to the body and the weigh sachets are removable. This is important because I sweat a lot and previous vests that had weights sewn into the vest eventually rusted out (totally gross) making a mess, ruining shirts etc. I absolutely love my brute! I use 1-2 times a week to make easy treadmill runs (3-4 miles) a tempo run. The quality is great (super solid build) fit is so perfect and easily adjusted AND it is stable while i run with zero bounce. Additionally, my inquiries to customer service were generously and quickly answered. I would buy again but it will probably last foreverrrrrrrrrrr
