I have no problem with the product. However, I requested 5 cut mdf panels along with some full size panels. The cut panels arrived cut incorrectly sized so thinking I had put the measurements down wrong (width/length) I accepted probably my fault and reordered the 5 cut panels with the measurements the other way around (length/width). I received 9 cut panels, all the wrong size and with the grooves running in the wrong direction. I contacted Builders Marketplace and was told to email the Company with my complaint and attach a picture of each panel that I had received. Having done this I received a reply stating I had ordered the wrong type of MDF. So, I emailed back with a drawing of exactly what I required and after 3 phone calls eventually spoke to someone who took my order. It did take quite a bit of explaining though. My third order finally arrived and is correct. So, I had not ordered the wrong type of MDF. Why had I been sent 9 cut pieces of MDF when I only ordered 5 cut pieces? Why weren't questions asked? I am now over £100 out of pocket having received 2 incorrect orders. I am also left with 18 cut pieces of MDF which Builders Marketplace will not take back. The product is ok, I'm afraid the Company isn't. Update - 18 Feb. Following this review I received an email from Kerry, the Office Manager at Builders Marketplace who looked into my complaint and offered a £60 refund, which I have accepted. Kerry was very helpful and quick to reply to emails. This is obviously a company that takes reviews seriously and I cannot fault the after action. I am therefore rating Builders Marketplace as 4 stars as opposed to my original 2 stars.
